This edition carries the overarching theme of educational transformation in the face of the dynamics of the modern era, particularly Society 5.0, technological developments, and the strengthening of religious values and local wisdom. Several articles highlight the importance of integrating religious moderation into the education system, both in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and in the context of Muhammadiyah education, linked to a neuroscience perspective. It demonstrates efforts to develop a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent but also spiritually and socially balanced amidst technological advancements.
Furthermore, this journal presents empirical studies on improving learning quality, including the influence of external factors on learning outcomes, the implementation of innovative learning models such as Project-Based Learning, and the use of realistic mathematics approaches. Studies on student error analysis and the exploration of mathematical concepts in traditional games and local culture emphasize the importance of a contextual approach to learning to enhance student understanding.
The development of educational technology is another important focus, as evidenced by discussions about using YouTube as a learning resource and the creation of interactive websites for virtual classes. Furthermore, issues of educational evaluation and management are highlighted through studies of training evaluation models and the management of Open Journal Systems toward accreditation. Overall, this journal presents a comprehensive narrative on innovation, evaluation, and adaptation of education in responding to global challenges while maintaining local and religious values.
